Attention: You can move the straps!!!

These are great! I'm a dev during the day and gamer at night, using a split keyboard and wireless mouse. I like to lounge and felt like these would help me do that so I thought I'd try these out. My chair is an older-style Herman Miller Aeron, which, at least compared to the few other office chairs I've tried, has armrests that are shorter, wider, and placed a bit further back than the average office chair. When I first attempted to apply this product to my chair, I shared the same concern expressed in a few of the reviews I've seen here: specifically, the straps seemed too far apart, and the front one was basically useless as the mousepad extends past my armrest (see attached picture for original location of strap, circled in red).HOWEVER!!! One is able to remove the strap and slide it through the slats on the plate connecting the two armrest sections (circled in blue in the same picture as earlier), and with very little effort; all you need to do is loosen the screws on the plate a bit if you need the strap to fit between it and the product (this is the case in my other picture, circled in blue), and then simply tighten them back up after you've threaded the Velcro through both slats. Overall, it just took me a few minutes of trial and error to determine the best position for the strap and the connecting plate and now I'm set for basically eternity.Final plusses are that these products feel extremely sturdy and are still simple enough to remove and reattach whenever you feel the need to.

Liked it so much I bought another for the office

I read the reviews prior to purchasing and was expecting to be disappointed. Much to my surprise I loved it. I did have to make some minor modifications by adding more velcro similar to another reviewer but once i did this it was super sturdy. If you are suffering from shoulder or elbow injury this may help you as it did me. I no longer have to reach forward to perform complex mouse movements.

Amazing addition to a herman miller arm rest

I was skeptical too if it would work, this is helping me a lot at least at the moment, I've only used it 10 min and already cannot imagine how I worked without itI would say 9.9999/10 only because the mouse pad isn't gel its just soft foam comfy yes but not ideal for me, but the fact that you don't have to attach it is a huge plus

Bed grip

it very tough to hold firm the product to the chair. The product is very unstable, and therefore not convenient to use.
