I love the space--vertical and horizontal--this desk converter provides me. My monitor sits on the top while the keyboard tray can fit my mouse and mechanical keyboard with wrist pads for both. I usually use it at standing height but occasionally sit down for ordering and more focused computer tasks, thanks to the adjustable height. The hydraulics to adjust the height are smooth and powerful. I am 5'2" for reference.
This converter feels cheap and flimsy. When typing, there's a slight, yet constant wobble regardless of its position. It also isn't smooth when being raised and lowered. Fully brand converters are more expensive, but well worth the extra cost. Also, beware ... this company requires the customer to pay for shipping of a return.
Love how easy it was to put together and how it fits on my small office desk perfectly. Wish it didn't wobble as much when I typed. And is hard to put back down from the standing position until you "break it in" After that it is easy to do.
I've been having hip issues, so needed to do some standing while working from home. I purchased this desk converter based on reviews, and have to agree; it's great. It fits on my small wooden Ikea desk just perfectly, I love the lift assist, and it looks great. My monitor does wobble a little if I'm typing, but I find that's true for anything that's not just solid furniture (including my standing desk at work that is one solid piece with hydraulics).
Got this for my work desk. Doesn't take up too much space. I started the trend and now everyone i work with has one lol. Easy to assemble although i did get confused about which side was up for a moment, hope they can mark that better. Lifts easy and with the right cable management it should work well for you too. For the price, this is amazing. Beware of the hydraulics (look at me using fancy words, but basically mean the mechanism that allows the desk to rise) scraping the desk underneath, noticed that after awhile
