MOUNT-PLAY5 Speaker Wall Mount Recall Notice

This recall involves the following mounts for Sonos Play 5 speakers (purchased before July 1st): 

  • MOUNT-PLAY5B (dual pack)
  • MOUNT-PLAY5B-1 (single pack)
  • MOUNT-PLAY5W (dual pack)
  • MOUNT-PLAY5W-1 (single pack) 
      

 

Hazard: VIVO has determined that in rare cases, speaker vibrations can cause the mount lip to come loose and the Sonos Play 5 speaker to fall. 

Customer safety and satisfaction are top priorities at VIVO, and we have voluntarily chosen to alert our customers and give options for repairing the mounts, exchanging them for updated brackets, or providing a full refund. 

Remedies: Repair (2 Options), Replace, Refund 

Customers should remove speaker from mount and contact VIVO Support for remedy options. 

  • Please contact VIVO Support to inquire about a product repair, exchange, or refund.

Description:  This recall contains both the single and dual packs (black and white colors) of the Sonos Play 5 speaker mounts listed above. Each mount includes a large support bracket and small support bracket, with the total holder measuring 4.8” x 8.5” x 7.8” and supporting weights up to 15.4 pounds.

Incident:  A customer reported to VIVO that their Sonos Play 5 speaker vibrated off the mount and landed on the floor.
