Pull Out 18” Under Desk Drawer

It sticks out 2” from desk if installed, and cannot be flush with desk because of the bars underneath the middle of the desk. If install, it massively limits the space a chair has to maneuver. The chair’s arms would constantly hit it and become ripped in short time. I might try to install in a closet, but am disappointed that I can’t use it with the desk.

I ordered two of these drawers and both arrived with small dents in the drawer fronts. They appear to be fabrication malfunctions. Geez, of all places to not have fabrication defects it would be on the drawer fronts. For the price my expectations were to have smooth drawer fronts.

Drawer is solid, installation simple but the drawer only opens up a few inches making the back 1/2 of the drawer dead space. There is not way to extend the sliders. I'll either be returning of simply tossing in the trash.

It seems to be built well and sturdy, but is not working for me. The description says 18" and 20" on the outside, etc. but a 17" notepad does not fit in there. The drawer is too shallow and only extends half way. The product images have all the dimensions like the inner measurements of the drawer and how much it extends. But somehow it made an impression of a bigger box, which it is not.
